What are Hormones?

What is Natural Hormone Replacement?

Do I need a prescription for my hormones?
This depends on the strength of the prescription and whether it is taken orally. All forms of progesterone taken internally require a prescription. Skin preparations of progesterone that are 6% or greater require a prescription. All other hormones (estrogen, testosterone, etc.) require a prescription regardless of their form.

What is your philosophy of treatment?
Many people come to our store with self-limiting conditions such as colds, flu, rashes, head lice, allergies, etc. We attempt to reduce the severity of symptoms and the length of the illness through herbal, homeopathic, nutritional and vitamin support. This allows your body to heal itself without the side effects of drugs.

Do you treat disease states?
NO, we do not treat diseases. That is up to your physician. However, we can recommend regimens for cardiovascular support, GI support, prostate support, thyroid support, bone support, and menopause support. We research or refer and offer support for almost any condition brought to our attention.
