Valerian Root-Natures Sunshine - 410 mg - 100
Orally, Valerian Root is used as a sedative-hypnotic and anxiolytic for restlessness and sleeping disorders associated with nervous conditions such as anxiety, nervousness, hysteria, cramping and convulsions. Several studies have shown consistent correlation between Valerian Root and reducing the time to sleep onset in patients suffering from sleep disorders. Valerian is also used as a pain reliever and has helped nervous headaches.

Suggested Use: Take one capsule with a meal once or twice daily.

If used in large doses for an extended period of time valerian could lead to benzodiazepine type withdrawal symptoms when stopped. Do not use at the same time as alcohol,barbiturates, or any other drug with sedative properties.
