Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) ia a primary antioxidant, essential for tissue growth, wound healing, absorption of calcium and iron, and utilization of folic acid.  Involved in neurotransmitter biosynthesis, cholesterol regulation, and formation of collagen; useful for preventing constipation, easing arthritis and rheumatism, and preventing blood clots, bruising, and atherosclerosis.  Vitamin C should also be recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties which often aid in the prevention and recovery from cold and flu.

Suggested Use:  For general maintenance take 1 capsule daily with a meal or a glass of water.
